James (Pharmacist)
Kia ora! I’m James, the co-owner of Ngā Hua Pharmacy and a pharmacist with over a decade of experience. My passion lies in supporting people on their health and wellness journeys, particularly through the use of plant-based treatments like Medical Cannabis. One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is seeing the profound impact that these treatments can have on our patients. Witnessing the difference Medical Cannabis makes in people’s lives is one of the biggest driving factors behind what I do and why I’m so passionate about its potential.
With a postgraduate certificate in Clinical Pharmacy (Otago) and in Medical Cannabis (AUT), I’m committed to continuous learning and sharing my knowledge to ensure our patients receive the best care possible.
Outside of the pharmacy, I have always been interested optimising health and wellness, longevity, and metabolic health. I also work casually as a qualified personal trainer and enjoy training at the gym in my free time.
It’s an honor to be part of your health journey, and I’m here to offer compassionate support, expert advice and personalised care every step of the way.

Genna (Pharmacy Technician)
I’ve been a pharmacy technician since 2001, with experience in various areas including hospital pharmacy, aseptic compounding, and chemotherapy. I’ve worked in community pharmacies across the Waikato, Bay of Plenty, and Australia.
I have a strong interest in holistic and natural therapies, and one of the most rewarding aspects of my job is seeing returning customers share their success stories with medicinal cannabis. It adds variety to my day and reinforces my passion for this field.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and relaxing.
