Vigisom Melatonin 2mg Prolonged Release Tablets is a Pharmacy Medicine for the short-term treatment of insomnia characterised by poor quality of sleep in patients aged 55 or over. Each prolonged-release tablet contains 2mg of melatonin, and is specially designed to release the active ingredient gradually overnight to support more natural sleep onset and sleep quality.

How to Use
For adults aged 55 years or over: Swallow ONE tablet whole with a glass of water after food, 1 to 2 hours before you go to bed. Each Vigisom tablet has been specially designed to release the right dose of medicine while you sleep. If you crush, chew or divide the tablet, it will not work properly.
Warnings
Do not use if:
- You are under 55 years of age.
- You are taking any other medicines for sleep.
- You have liver problems.
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Unless a doctor has told you to, do not use:
- For more than 30 days.
- If you have kidney problems.
- If you have an autoimmune disease.
Other precautions:
- Consult a pharmacist or doctor before use if you are taking other medicines regularly.
- Do not drink alcohol while taking this medicine.
- This medicine may cause drowsiness. If affected, do not drive or operate machinery.
- Keep out of reach of children.
